This is hands down one of the easiest meals I make my family. It’s a last second meal we rarely have on the weekly menu. It’s reserved for those nights when the menu gets thrown out the window. Too busy? Too lazy? Too tired to cook? This recipe is perfect for you!
Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger
1 can cream of mushroom
1 package softened cream cheese
Bread or hamburger buns (you can also throw it on pasta!)
Preparation:
Brown the hamburger, then add the cream of mushroom soup and the cream cheese. Cook on med-low until bubbling. Serve over bread/hamburger buns/pasta.
*You can add any number of ingredients. Sometimes I add a bit of garlic or onions. Sometimes I throw in a drained can of green beans. You could go crazy and modify this simple recipe in any way you want!

I changed it up a bit because of items on hand.. I used ground sausage and a can of cream of onion.
Mixed it with elbow pasta.
OMG my kids have named a new Family Favorite!!
My husband and I love this stuff! Some day maybe the kids will too.
We used to call this hamburger gravy and poured it over mashed potatoes. If you substitute 1 can spaghetti sauce for the musroom soup, it’s yummy over pasta!
