We just got word from Zaycon Foods that they were able to get 300 cases of extra lean ground beef (93/7) on a truck headed to Boise! Yeehaw!
Zaycon ground beef is DELICIOUS and so worth the price of $2.79/lb.
They will open the event sometime before 5pm tomorrow, so get registered NOW in preparation. There were over 200 people on the waiting list last time, so I suggest you buy early! We’ll let you know when the even opens.

- Register with Zaycon Foods
- Pick it up or arrange for a friend to pick it up on the delivery date.
- Enjoy!
Note: Unless you have a lot of people to feed you are going to want to package up your beef and freeze it the same way we prepared our Zaycon chicken. I suggest using a FoodSaverto package your beef.

hw often is this done?won’t be able to get to area the day it comes to my state.
Any idea the price per lb at Costco in boise area?
For the person who asked about turkey, you could email them, they take a few days to respond but they did respond to my question.
Zaycon’s was cheaper & leaner than Costco when I checked last spring. LOVE this ground beef!
It is usually $1.99 a lb at Costco
Not for the 93/7. I haven’t seen it that low at Costco in years, although I’m not sure what the current price is.
I’ll tell you here in Seattle we pay $2.99 / lb for 88% lean. Sure wish Zaycon was coming to Seattle with that beef!
Oops I miss typed its $2.99
I can’t find it to order on the website. It only shows chicken in idaho and not in boise
I am confussed and a little worried about this deal. I watched a documentry last night about Zicon. It talked about the chemicls they use and how they abuse the animals. Has this info changed? Does anyone have more information to help clear this up? The moive was made a few years ago and maybe is not the same company but the name Zicon Meat ws used several times in the warning. Just a heads up that you might want to look into.
As always, I think you guys are Fabuless……!!!!!
Zaycon foods is less than 2 years old. They are NOT a farm, nor do they have animals. They have never had documentary made about them or any of the farms they purchase from, as they purchase from the highest quality farms and processors in the country. Rest assured they are NOT the company from that documentary. We know the owners personally and this is a family-run, ethical business. You can buy with peace of mind!
I’m not taking credit but I emailed the Z team a couple weeks ago and pretty much begged for ground beef!! Yeah they are awesome!!!!
How do you know that it is coming? I have not recieved the emails from Z and I can’t see it on their website…I only see Chicken and Bacon for Boise
We actually have a partnership with Zaycon, so we get an early heads up before they send an email!
Wohoo famtastic! Thanks for the heads-up and all you do!!
Safeway has 93% for 4.99/lb but it’s bogo right now.. so that’s $2.50/lb if you get increments of 2. Seriously.. not that big of a deal if you have a Safeway anywhere nearby.. they do this fairly often.
I just called the business Costco near our home and they have 9% lean ground beef chub for $2.69/lb. Zaycon is having a ground beef event in our area and they are charging $2.89/lb. Is there any advantage to purchasing from Zaycon over Costco? I enjoyed the chicken breast event, and was looking forward to the ground beef, but i’m not sure about the price.
Thanks,
KIm
