I went to Smith’s today to take advantage of the Smith’s Huggies catalina offer, to use some expiring coupons, and to qualify for a Cars 2 Rebate.

What I bought:
(2) Huggies Pull-Ups $9.39 ea
Use (2) $2/1 Huggies Pull-Ups Training Pants Jumbo Pack or Larger
Final Price: $7.39 ea
Huggies Little Movers $9.39
Use $2/1 Huggies Diapers Coupon from a previous pkg (expires 10/31)
Final Price: $7.39
(2) Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes, 72 ct $1.99 ea
Use (2) $0.50/1 Huggies Baby Wipes 10/23/2011 SS
And $1/2 Huggies Baby Wipes 64 ct or larger SavingStar (expires 10/31)
Final Price: $0.99 ea ($0.01/wipe!)
Plus, I received two $5 catalinas!
When I walked out with two $5 catalinas, I was very happy and a little confused. What did I do to get that second catalina?
My conclusion: It looks like there are currently 2 Huggies Catalina Deals going on right now…

It all began on October 8th, 2008. Cathy and Monica started this coupon blog to help friends and family learn about their new money saving hobby couponing! Since then they have taught thousands of women (and men)

So If you bought Four packages of diapers (and wipes to get to $40), would get 3 $5 catalinas?
Well, I’m not sure how many of the Smith’s catalinas (spend $20 for $5) you can do in one transaction, since I only did one & didn’t have the foresight to ask about it while I was there. Does anyone know? If you can do two in one transaction, then you would get two $5 from that and one $6 from the other one because you are buying 4 pkgs.
I bought:
(4) Huggies Snug and Dry @ $9.39 ($9.85 reg. retail)
(1) Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes 72 ct @ $1.99
Used:
(4) $2/1 peelie coupon I had for the diapers a while back
(1) .50/1 Wipes coupon
I bought a bunch of other stuff, so i don’t know exactly what my OOP was, but I should have hit the $40 mark and only got the $6 catalina and one $5 catalina. So what I would suggest is add another thing of wipes and split it in two transactions and you’ll get two $5 and two $3
I don’t know what the savings star coupons are. Can you please tell me? Also, do you stack the savings star coupons with another manufacture coupon…..meaning two coupons and one item? Thanks so much.
Sign up for SavingStar and you can load eCoupon to your store’s savings/rewards card. The SavingStar eCoupons are more like rebates because the savings you earn from the coupon goes into your SavingStar account. These eCoupons do not come off at checkout. Because of this and the fact that they are more like rebates, you can combine these eCoupons with paper coupons! When the savings in your SavingStar account reaches $5, you can submit for a gift card, deposit, and other options.
