Zaycon Bacon coming to ID, OR, and WA

A fruGAL or guy knows that you will not always be able to find coupons for meat and produce. FruGALs also know to watch for a fab price and stock up and freeze or preserve when the price is low!

Zaycon is bringing the bacon back!

Every time Zaycon has a sale our readers email us to find out if it is a good price. You know we love the Zaycon chicken sales!

The price for Bacon is…

30 lb case (4 pouches – 7.5lbs each ). Price is $2.97 per lb.

So is this a good price for bacon? Yes, for the cut and quality it is (it really is yummy). Is it rock bottom? No. What is your price point for bacon?

Here’s How to Take Advantage of this Price:

  1. Helen in Meridian says:

This bacon looks nice and meaty, if that’s a word. Is it available as thick sliced bacon? I love thick sliced bacon.

    • Helen,
I LOVE any kind of bacon. :) I just called my friend and we are going to split a case! I think I can smell it frying the pan already. :)

  2. Kim in Oregon says:

I just signed up & it says there isn’t any event in Oregon. POO!

  3. This is way too much to pay for bacon. Personally, I raise my own pork and pay less than $2 a lb. But if you look locally you can find it for $1.95 lb. :) Now that’s my kind of price!

    • I rarely see bacon for less than $4/lb unless it’s paper thin and mostly fat, not to mention full of preservatives. Where can I find good quality bacon for $2/lb?

  4. Dolores Gardner says:

I love Oscar Mayer bacon. If I can find it @ 2.50 I buy all I can.

  5. Does anyone know if this bacon is synthetic nitrate free and/or gluten free?
