Hi,
Took a look at the coupon matchups. I’m not finding the Krusteaz $1/2 coupon on the website. I did find a .50/1 One Step Muffin Mix. Is the $1/2 coupon no longer available?

with the thai noodle soup, it results in overage….i don’t expect overage, but because it is an internet coupon, they won’t accept it unless it scans properly, I tell them it won’t scan because they need to adjust the coupon down and they still don’t……very frustrating. Even the manager came over and said he understood what I was saying, but their policy is if it is internet printed coupon, it must scan or they won’t allow it. I told him then they should raise the price to 50 cents each and then the coupon would work. He said he couldn’t raise a price.
ARGH!!!!
I love winco and it’s more than just because of their low prices!
I had a nightmare the other day with Winco in Boise on Myrtle. I went through with 6 coupons and a coupon for a free bottle of pantene. My total was over $85, I paid for the food part on EBT and the remaining balance came up to $4.51. I said, “How could it be that high?” She immediately gets snotty and just stares at me forever before saying “Well you have to pay the tax on the coupons.” I said, “Yes I know, but I only had six coupons and even with the pantene it should have been only about $0.60″. She stood there for another couple minutes and finally says “Well that’s your total. You need to pay it.” So I say, “Well can you check and see if maybe I went over on my food stamps?” (which I knew I didn’t since I still had well over the amount of my transaction. She says “There’s no way to check that.” Well I know walmart/fredmeyers/otherwincos have all done that for me in the past. She goes through my transaction again on her register and I watched, neither of us could find anything that wouldn’t be on food (I only use my food stamps for fresh ingredients, not junk, so I knew I didn’t have anything it wouldn’t pay for.) So she says again, “Well, this is your total.” her attitude was disgusting, I’d never been treated so rudely. I finally said “Well, I’m not going to pay that.” and asked for a manager. She says “I still have to go through all your bags.” She goes over and goes through all my bags, even after verifying there is nothing that is not food (besides the pantene) on the receipt and if there was something in my cart that wasn’t on there I’d be shoplifting and it wouldn’t have showed up on the total anyway! Finally the manager comes over and come to find out their registers are kicking back the free coupons and they have to manually enter them. The cashier looked like a total idiot (of course she made me look like one too), and from the time the manager stepped in to the time I walked out the store was about 2 minutes, after fighting with this girl for at least 10 minutes (long enough for other customers to get disgusted and walk away). Normally I put up with a little bit of rudeness with cashiers at the big stores. It was late, it was the end of the day for everyone, but this girl was so rude I could not believe her behavior. I have never been treated so rudely in my life and I honestly believe it was because I was on food stamps and using a coupon. I don’t enjoy being on food stamps, but I am disabled and going to school and raising two small kids by myself. Couponing helps but it doesn’t pay all the bills. I use my food stamps to buy fresh food and healthy food. If I want candy or soda I pay for it with my own money. So I was furious and wrote winco that night (this was around 9) and posted something on their facebook wall. By 11:00 the next morning they had both responded on their facebook and through email asking for my contact info. I called the manager of the winco that morning and he was already updated, said she’d already been fired (she’d already been in his office once but they had to have time to build up a file on her before firing her) and apologized several times, promising me I could bring coupons in anytime. Best of all they sent me a $20 gift card. I was so happy with the way they handled it. I would really have hated to stop shopping there.
Today I found purex fabric softener $3.63 for 100 oz!! And Ken’s salad dressing is only $0.78 with the 1/1 coupon we received a while back (expires 9/31). It’s almost $3 at Walmart! Best of all it was free to me because of some cashier who decided to get an attitude! I encourage everyone to shop at winco!
I have had trouble finding coupons that are listed on here to be in Smart Source or Red Plum. Is this and east coast website?
