These are the best deals I see this week. Target’s ads are usually not super beefed up with deals. You will find more by going to the store with your coupons and scouting out the clearance aisles or end caps, as well as unadvertised price-cuts. As Target adds coupons periodically that can be stacked with manufacturer’s coupons, more deals pop up and I will share them as they do! Keep in mind that prices vary from region to region, that you should print and bring the NEW Target Coupon Policy with you, and don’t forget your reusable bags!! Get $.05 off your total for every bag you end up using!

It all began on October 8th, 2008. Cathy and Monica started this coupon blog to help friends and family learn about their new money saving hobby couponing! Since then they have taught thousands of women (and men)

Has anyone seen Rango? Any adult themes or magic in it? We are pretty conservative. thx
It has an adult theme even though it is animated, we took my six year old to it and it was funny, but not very kid oriented, at least IMO.
If you go back earlier in the week, Cathy and several people said it is a terrible show for children and not worth the money.
A lot of dialogue even my husband and I had a hard time following. A lot of the “funny parts” were not crude, but adult-oriented. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for adults or children.
We hated Rango…it was more adult then we thought it would be and our son was throughly confused through out the whole movie
I agree with all above posts! We took our 4 and 6 year olds to see it in the cheap theater … and I was so glad we didn’t pay full price. I was mortified at the language — it said “h*ll” no less than half a dozen times. The theme was very adult — the pace was incredibly slow — and there was nothing funny about it. Disappointing, as Johnny Depp is one of my all-time faves.
I always check http://www.pluggedin.com/ … it’s Focus on the Family, and is pretty right on, in my opinion.
You can check out the complete movie review here: http://www.pluggedin.com/movies/intheaters/rango.aspx
It covers a synopsis of the movie, positive elements, spiritual content (from a Christian prescriptive), sexual content, violent content, language, drug and alcohol content, other negative elements, and a conclusion.
Thanks Ladies. I think I will pass on this film. Thanks for the link Becky!
So I noticed that all of the coupons (target ones) that I printed this morning now say-one coupon per offer or transaction. So per the new policy (am I understanding this right or wrong)- are we going to be limited on stacking abilities?
I went to Target this morning with my coupons and when I went to the cashier I did ask if I could use them in one single transaction or did I have to make multiple. She allowed me to use them all in one transaction, she did however try to tell me I had to buy multi-color pens with the Bic coupon. Her and I went round and round for a moment on them, in the end I was able to use them on the pens.
It’s talking about using BOTH of the coupons you’re allowed to print in the same transaction. While this has been policy for a while at many Target’s across the nation, it looks like they are pushing towards making it policy at ALL the Targets.
. And it’ll be easy to split up, you just separate your like items
NOW, could you probably get away with using both copies in one transaction? Maybe. But, is that ethical and honest? Nope. If the coupon states 1 per transaction (or like all PG coupons, 4 per transaction), or 1 per day or whatever, you MUST stick to that. Sure, we all make mistakes, especially when we are using a LOT of coupons in a transaction, but it’s our job as couponers to ethically coupon, following the small print on the coupons, etc. Could you imagine the disaster it would be, and how LONG it would take to check out if people use them in a fraudulent way and stores start requiring their cashiers to read the small print on every coupon? OR what if it got so bad that they stopped allowing coupons to be used in their stores?
It’s really no big deal… how many coupons could someone possibly print? MAYBE 6 (if they had three computer?) We run more transactions than that at Albertsons on any given double day
Does that make since?
I have been separating my transactions for awhile now at Target to use my coupons, but more often than not, the cashier looks at me like I’m crazy and just runs them all through together. I’ve even pointed out the wording on the coupon to tell them that it actually states that I can’t use them all in the same transaction and they have just shrugged and wanted to do it all together anyways. I always make sure all my coupons are accepted when they do this, thinking that the computer will not accept them, but it does. Still…on principle alone, I am going to continue to separate my transactions and if they don’t want to do it that way, at least I tried.
Yay Debra!!! Way to be Fabuless!!!
The scotch tape coupons… target and manur will not go through on the tape in the school aisle, they have to be the green label ones.. The manager did override the manur one but I was not able to use the target one too..Which was fine with me because it was still free
Your post has a typo. The price for the pepsi is 4 for $11 or $2.75 each or $1.75 for the Sierra mist after coupon, not $1.50 each.
Thanks Ben!!! I do these posts at about 1 am, so sometimes my brain isn’t quite there with the math! I’ll fix it!
Our tape wasnt free here in Kitsap county but hey $.24 each still isnt bad plus I got the same tape free when stapels had it on sale for a buck a few weeks ago! The pens were a good deal too but agaon they were $1.04 not $.97 so I had to pay $.04 each, oh well that shopping trip with all my Q’s and Target Q’s to match total before Q’s was $55.00-ish and my OOP was only $3.18 BUT $3.15 was TAX! my total before tax was only $.03!!! Darn tax, LOL!!
That’s fantastic!!! Way to go Denise!!!
The printable coupons at Target do not work. Apparently there is a maximum allotted download for all the coupons and if you select a coupon in your grouping that has already been printed by too many people, then none of your coupons print. This is very frustrating and I want to know is there a better way or do I have to print each one individually?
Sarah,
I’m so sorry you are having this problem! I’ve never experienced it! I usually print in groups of three… maybe try that? Printing only one coupon at a time doesn’t make since.
Yep, so the cat litter coupons are gone, so are the sharpie coupons and the pens. This stinks!
If you don’t believe me, watch the coupon page. If you wait like two minutes and refresh, you’ll see the number of available coupons go down. I got the notification via twitter about these match ups and I’m so sad that people have already taken them.
I’m a school teacher and things like the tape and sharpies and pens would be used every day. My school district does not supply this kind of stuff (hardly any ever do) and I also have to buy my own paper, printer ink, and many extra resources. (The printer ink eats away at my allotted money so often stuff comes out of my own pocket).
Oh, I totally believe you! I’m sorry!!
Keep in mind that this is only the beginning of school supply season, and there are going to be lots more GREAT deals!!
In fact, if you use the coupon in the office max insert this week, you can get 12 sharpies for $1!!
I just printed the tape, sharpie and papermate just fine.
Me too.
Sarah, you may want to keep checking back. I was able to print both of these just now. Too bad my ink ran out right before the second litter coupon printed ARGH!!!!!
I saw Rango. Save your money!! Even if I had a freebie at Redbox and used it on Rango I would still be mad because I wasted the gas to get to the store. Save your money!!
You asked for the best price on school supplies. A friend is a teacher and every year she goes to Staples and posts her finds on facebook. This is from today.
Back to $chool $pecials from $taples: pencil cap erasers 12/pk, Bic Stic Black pens 8/pk, Staples school glue 4oz ($.01 …limit 2 each or 25 each if a teacher & $5 min. purchase) poly folder, Stickies flags 5 color pk, BIC mechanical pencils 5/pk, slider pencil case (? all out?), Ream 500 sheets multipurpose paper (all $25 ea…but $5.74 rebate on paper) and a bunch of $1 items also…Spent $11 for $86
The best buy in the $1 items were 7″ Westcott scissors ( pointed tip) reg $5 , Sharpie permanent fine tip markers 5/pk (reg 3.89), Post-it die-cut notes 2/pk (reg $2.99), 3-hole binder punch (reg. $3) and HP photo paper 50/pk (after $8.99 rebate) one of the Brians (short one) was my cashier and said there are more specials next week (as usual)
Very cool!!!
I did several of these deals yesterday but today I cannot find the Target coupons for papermate, sharpie or Zantac.
The $0.10 photo deal doesn’t work with the coupon – no free prints. The coupon states it is good at the lab or online print-to-store/same-day pickup (no code to use the coupon online). The $0.10/print deal is only good on 4×6 prints made online for shipping. The in-store price is $0.20 – which for the 20 prints for the coupon would be $4 – so $2 total for 20 prints ($0.10 each). Basically, you get $0.10/print online but have to pay shipping, or you get $0.10/print for 20 prints in the store WITH the coupon.
What about the venus razors are they a good deal. I am new to all this. 8.00, -2.00 cpn plus got a 5.00 gift card when I purchased two. So the price was 3.50 each…. Is there a better place to look for this kind of item?
