I don’t see a $1/3 coupon on the Kelloggs site.
Sue- I just checked and it is there for me. I am wondering if you have printed it previously if it would no longer show for ya?

If you want a little more selection on cereal, I just left Winco and most of the Kelloggs were priced at $1.98 a box. I used my $5 off 5 coupon to get them for 98 cents each… a bit more, but I was very happy.

hubby saw some at the Nampa winco for that price, but I believe he said there were only 2 kinds. We’ll have to check again 
Can someone tell me if it’s “like” items or “like” coupons? So can I use 4 $5/5 mfc for the cereal or can I only buy 4 boxes of cereal?
you can only buy 4 of the sale items, so it would be 4 boxes of cereal. That’s why she suggested price matching at target or walmart, because then you can buy 5 boxes price matched for the sale price of 1.88 and use your $5/5 coupon

I think my store interprets it differently. Each kind of cereal is considered a different item, so I could get 4 Rice Krispies, 4 Frosted Flakes, etc. That’s how it is on the diaper sales anyway. I can get 4 Size 4′s, 4 Size 5′s, and 4 Overnights, for example.

I tried to price match at Meridian Walmart and they told me they don’t price match Rite Aid ads. Has anyone else been told this. it’s been a while since I have read their coupon policy so maybe I missed it.
My Walmart told me “if you have to have a “card” to get that price, then they won’t price match it”. So no Safeway, no RiteAid, etc
Dayle- I have not heard this, and it is not addressed in the pricematch policy (see link below). Did you ask for a manager to clarify?
Brenda- Print the policy and take it with you!! The price match policy specifically states that it will honor “•Preferred shopping card prices for specific items that are in a printed ad.”

yeah, we do price match rite aid ads, but if it mentions up rewards, you dont get that price, just their base sale price. BUT, i know for a fact the meridian walmart cant price match the frosted flakes because they do not carry the correct size thats printed in the ad.
didnt check the other cereals tho, but it looks like ill have to go to rite aid for my frosted flakes.
Was pretty excited about the softsoap deal, even though its not listed as a great stock up price, but coupons didn’t work on it. Size restriction states above 8oz and the ones on sale are only 7.5oz. Just a heads up to all you other couponers.

I went to Rite Aid today and did the cereal deal. I asked the cashier and she said the 4 limit is per kind of cereal because it goes by the UPC code on the box.. so yes you CAN use the $5/5 coupon at Rite Aid just the the 5th box can’t be the same as the other 4! =)

I saw the softsoap deal and was excited and went and got some, then came home to see everyone saying the coupon wouldn’t work cuz of the size, but she took mine, i thought they scanned but I was talking so i don’t know if she had to enter them in, now i feel guilty I got something with the wrong coupon!
Heather- as long as you do your best to use coupons correctly and ethically, there is no reason to feel guilt when you make a mistake. We are all human. It happens.

I tried the Herbal Essence and my Rite Aid would not let me do it. The manager said I could use one coupon for each two and that was it.
Bummer. If you are up to trying it again you can always call 1800RITEAID while still in the store and they can help you clear up this confusion. That particular manager may not be coupon savvy.
