Seriously Simple Homemade Pizza

image

Pizza Dough:

  • 3 ¼ – 4 cups Flour
  • 2 TB Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 TB Yeast
  • 1  ¼ cup Warm water

Toppings:

  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Favorite Italian Sauce
  • Your favorites: Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Olives, Onion, Sausage, ect

Directions:

Mix flour, salt, and yeast. Add water and mix, than add oil. I mix mine in my knock of version of the Bosch. Kneed until smooth. Roll out and place on pan. Top with sauce, cheese and your favorite toppings. Bake 15-20 minutes at 375°.

Note: For a crispier trust bake the crust for 10 minutes before topping. Be sure to score the crust with a fork across the top to prevent it from rising too much. Then top and bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Awesome!!! Thanks for the great, simple recipe!

  2. That’s how I make pizza :)
Except I pre-bake the the crust just a bit (10 minutes or so). Not enough to bake it through, but enough that the crust isn’t gooey under the toppings after it’s done.

  3. We just made homemade pizza last night!! I used a recipe very similar to this. And I agree baking the crust a little does help for crispiness! So Happy others are taking the time to bake healthier pizza like this ;)

  4. Could you use whole wheat flour instead? Or half white/wheat?

    • I would do half and half. I have done it and it turns out great! All wheat flour tends to be to heavy and kinds stiff with this recipe. :)

We use a similar recipe. I love to do make several batches at a time and freeze the dough balls in baggies. Makes for super easy dinner on busy days!
