There is fantastic tote at Target. It’s made by Real Simple and holds hanging files. The current one is a linen color and costs about $31.00. I wish it was less expensive, but I really love mine.

how do you use this? do you not clip your coupons and just carry full inserts?
I saved more! I had a Coluzzle cutting system binder that I converted for coupons. Provo Craft makes them. It has the binder rings and a couple of inside pockets as well as some elastic loops and pockets and of course it zips shut, with carry handles. Maybe a few scrap bookers out there already have what they need and hadn’t thought about it. I think the organizing system that works for you is the most important part of couponing. Have fun!!!

I found the perfect binder (brand new!) at the thrift store!! What about the inserts? Trading cards protector sleeves?

I don’t see how the 2inch binder works unless you have 2 binders one for the inserts and one just for clipped coupons.
Amazon has some more 3-inch Case-it zipper binders, but they didn’t seem to be very good quality according to the reviews.
And some people keep more coupons than others, some keep less. It just depends on what will work for each person!
I wouldn’t go smaller than a 2-inch though for sure!
My hubby got me a perfect one from Fred Meyers for Mother’s Day. It has zippered closure, a built in accordian file ~where I sort my weekly store flyers with any catalinas and RR, a cell phone holder, card holders like a wallet where I keep my store rewards cards, a pen holder, a BUILT IN CALCULATOR (love that feature, can you tell??) and even a spot for me to keep my keys so I can just leave the purse at home instead of juggling that AND my binder! Best Mother’s Day gift ever!!
