From what the assistant manager has told us they are the only Albertsons selling it for this price right now, BUT fabFruGal Amber said she did this deal at Albertsons in Caldwell yesterday! Smart girl bought coupons on ebay a while back! So look for this deal in your store. UPDATE: Idaho Falls has this price!

are very cheap right now. LIKE 20 FOR $1! This is because they expire on the 20th! If you order coupons on eBay
this cereal could be gone before your coupons arrive. It might be worth it to you to pay extra to have them shipped overnight? Our clipping service called Manufactures Coupons has Post coupons and is in Washington and could get coupons here pretty fast.
$1 is a very good price for cereal these days, although we try to keep our stock up price at .50/box! My plan is to order cheap ebay coupons now and then buy 5-10 boxes now. If the coupons come in time YAY! If the stores are sold out I am only out a few bucks.

They are not the only Albertsons doing this right now. I went to the Caldwell stadium store yesterday and purchased 60 boxes….used 30 $1/2 coupons I got from ebay last month. my total for all 60 boxes was $33.60. Yippe……my pantry was low but is now full for only 5o cents a box. I didn’t wait for doubles cause it looked like it might be gone by then.
THE CATCH IS….the cereal has an expiration date of march of April of this year. Not a problem for me because It doesn’t really go bad that quick.

I am wondering the same thing. Remember last year when we got the Honey Bunches of Oats cereal for like 50 cents a box. Those are my family favorite. I really want that sale to come again. Anyone heard anything!

Here are my worries. Post cereal coupons don’t come out that often. There are some right now, but they expire 2/20!!
Boo! Does this mean there won’t be coupons to match with the March sale? That would really stink! I ran out of my 165 boxes of Post last summer! I CLEARLY did not buy enough cereal! We are down to some Kellogg’s I got last month and REALLY want our Honey Bunches of Oats!

Is free cereal a thing of the past? We have half a box of cereal in our pantry. I used to never be below 15-20 boxes. Am I going to have to start paying (gasp) a whole dollar a box for cereal?

With increasing production costs (corn, wheat…..) it just may be. Although, if I had some of those Post coupons in my hand, I’d be doubling them and getting free cereal today! You’re right though, the cheap cereal sales have been few and far between!
If Post put out more coupons and catalina deals lik GM and Kelloggs did, Albertsons would not be stuck with so much cereal. It seems like the last Post deal I found was at Fred Meyer. Albertsons needs to promote them more with coupons and catalinas too. We love original big shredded wheat and Grape Nuts.

Amy, they were in the 1/9 Smart Source. Although it is a regional coupon and Idaho did not get it.
I went this morning, and they were cleared out!!!
Rumor has it they have more coming on Thursday!
I just found out from the manager that a Meridian Food Bank lady came in and bought all of the cereal that they had on Sunday.
