Peanut Butter Balls

½ Cup Peanut Butter

3 T Butter

1 Cup Powdered Sugar {sifted}

8 oz Dipping Chocolate

  1. Soften butter and mix with peanut butter. Gradually add powdered sugar.
  2. Shape into balls and lay on wax paper.
  3. Melt chocolate. Place in microwave for 30 seconds, remove and stir, microwave another 30 seconds and stir again. Repeat until chocolate is smooth.
  4. Dip peanut butter balls in chocolate let cool on wax paper.
  5. Refridgerate in air tight container.

A note about chocolate: If you use a almond bark or confectioners chocolate you will not have to temper it. You can use chocolate chips {which you probably have in your stockpile} or Hershey bar but you will need to temper the chocolate if you do not want it to get the speckled look. The speckled chocolate does not taste bad, but does take away from the presentation.
