It all began on October 8th, 2008. Cathy and Monica started this coupon blog to help friends and family learn about their new money saving hobby couponing! Since then they have taught thousands of women (and men)

Do they have any of these coupons in the store?
Yes – the checker will have them!
I noticed that your printable coupons were not printed in color ( at least that’s what it looks like on my screen). I always print mine in color because I heard that the stores won’t accept them if they are not printed in color. Do you have any problems with the stores not accepting them in b&w?
NO you can print in BW!
Most stores will take them!
I usually print my coupons in B&W, and I’ve never had any trouble with them being accepted at any store.
I print mine in B&W on the backs of paper (junk mail, kid’s old homework, etc). Whatever has a blank side. I haven’t had anyone turn them down.
Thanks for letting me know this. I new to couponing and have been going through so much ink. I’ll print mine in B&W from now on
Cheri, you also might try changing your printer settings to “draft” mode. It uses a lot less ink that way. In my experience with my printer, draft mode works perfectly well for black & white printing, but not so well with color. Ymmv tho, depending on your printer.
I have my printer settings set to draft mode but whenever I print the only one that ever prints in draft is Smart Source, the other automatically print in color
Thanks for posting this. I guess I didn’t have time to read the paper today.
Your welcome!
Monica, thanks so much for posting about these coupons. You rock! I would have missed them. We were planning on going to Freddies tonight for some much needed snow boots for my kiddo, and we found some cute ones that were on sale. Thanks to you, I was also able to use the bonus coupon from the ad and get an additional 5% off bonus. Yay!
While I was there I picked up 4 bricks of cream cheese and 1 bag of sugar using the store coupons from the paper. The FM store at Chinden/Glenwood in Boise was well stocked with both, and they had lots of the baking morsels also. I’m already stocked up on chocolate chips, so I left my newspaper coupon there on the shelf for someone to find.
Thanks for taking the time to express your gratitude it really means a lot.
In Western Wa we didn’t get the sugar coupon. It was milk 2 for $3.
Yay! for cheap milk!
FYI- The coupon pictures the baking morsels which are semi-sweet, but it also works for the milk chocolate chips if you prefer those.
Don’t forget the cheap Fresh Asparagus for $1.48 lb for the first 5 lbs.
Thank you so much for all you do for us. I am definitely all over the lifesavers for the little people in my life!! Thank you!!!!
In the Tacoma News Tribune I got Tillamook Butter 2/$5.
