I took a friend into Albies today – she has been wanting to coupon… I bought 54 items. I saved $129.55. (I had 2 catalinas total value of $15 and used my $3 from the hamburger helper.) OOP $6.08. I guess it would be $.11 for each product – not too bad for a monday at the grocery store!
I came home with 2 boxes of GM cereal, 2 suddenly salads, 3 chex mixes, 6 totinos pizzas, 6 hamburger helpers, 9 pizza rolls, 11 green giant frozen corn, 3 green giant frozen broccoli, 3 green giant frozen cauliflower, 2 pillsbury choc chip cookies, 2 sweet moments brownies, 1 gallon of milk, 1 pack of gum, 3 amps.
BTW – My girl Darlene is sooo hooked! She spent under $25 and saved over $85! I was sooo proud! She can’t wait to go again!
Oh yeah, the kids were so excited we had to have pizza rolls for dinner, they hadn’t had them before. LOVED IT! With some of our frozen corn of course!!!

my 3$ catalina that printed when buying 6 hamburger helpers says 3$ off next chicken, beef or tuna purchase???? how do I use it on transaction #2. is it just saying that ??? or can I only use it off another hamburger helper purchase???
Don’t forget Kellogs in the paper a couple of weeks ago there was a $1 off 2 coupon they are $1.99 buy 10 use 5 coupons and 3 doubles and 5 back to school $2 off bread coupons if you have them and get $10 cat back. Works out really cheap for fruit snacks and bread like $3.20 if you buy all ten and all five mix it with your free pop etc can get better.
very disappointed today.. went to albie to use my last doubler. Decided to get 6 GM cereals with 3 $1/2 coupons (+doublers) and 4 pizza rolls with 2 $1/2 coupons. Guess what, it worked on Sun, but not today. pizza rolls coupon beeped and Cashier told me that the coupon is for 40ct pizza rolls, not the 15ct. She checked with the manager who agreed with her and said whoever accepted my coupon on Sun, shldnt have…. Any1 had the same problem? I went ahead with the purchase and returned the pizza rolls later…
I’m still trying to get a hang of this coupon thing in Boise :/ I hate running out of money for food at the end of every month..I will keep reading
Where did you get all the doublers? We get them in the mail with the ad and there are only 2. Do you take a bunch of ads from the store or something or get your neighbors??
