Okay, how do find these out? Is there way to find out all the Catalina deals for a certain store? Here in AZ we have different stores than you in ID have!
Bekah, I would love to know where there is a list of all current and upcoming catalinas by store, but I don’t think there is one. I think bloggers find out about them from readers, who find out about them from the notices that print out at the catalina machines themselves. Not sure what they’re called. I think it’s all just word-of-mouth communication, so to speak.
It has been enormously helpful to me to have great blogs (such as this one!) that are maintained by local folks here in the area where I live. Hopefully there is a resource like that in your area.
I bought two boxes of the Totino’s pizza rolls and did not get a cat.
Erin, was it the 15 ct boxes that are currently $1 and part of the GM promo at Albertsons? Those aren’t generating a catalina. I think it’s just the bigger bags.
Yeah it was the small boxes. I was Albies earlier and found out that the cat is for the 40-90 ct bags.

The catalina does not start until June or July and the current carpi sun coupons expire on 5-23. So I would not recommend buying on ebay. I do see some tear pad coupons on ebay doo til late aug but we usually do not recommend buying those b/c they could have been stolen from a store!
i bought 5 pizza rolls on the 17th and no cat, I take it the cat is for the larger boxes or??

For anyone who cares. I got a cat at Safeway last week that says “Thank You from Scrubbing Bubbles”. One for $3.00 and one for $1.00. I bought 3 @ 1.99 Scrubbing bubbles fresh cleaner and 3 Mr. Clean multi-surface cleaner @ 1.99 each. You must buy 3 at a time to get the sale price. With the cat I only spent $1.32 on each item.

I went to Albertsons today to take advantage of the Oscar Meyer Franks deal. I bought 8 packages. I thought the $1.88 was a good deal. Then a $5 catalina printed off! score! It says – “save $5 off OYNO Thank you from Kraft Foods!” I did not know we were getting a catalina on these franks. i wish I knew how many you had to buy to get them to print
Awesome Katie thanks for sharing! We got a reader comment saying she bought 10 and got the $5 cat so we know you will not get more than a $5 catalina if you buy more than 5. Wonder if buying 4 would trigger $5 as well? Anyone want to try? I will not get to the store til Monday.

Tonight I was at Albies and bought 5 Kraft Dressings…. only a $3 cat printed (even did it with the supervisor) so I don’t think that it will print the $4 on 5+. Anyone else had any luck with getting the $4 one?
i was able to get a $4 catalina on 5 kraft salad dressings, but then when i did the transaction again the next day i only got a $3 catalina. . . go figure.

I am not seeing a Kikkoman catalina reference… am I missing something?
Also- it says, – colgate toothbrush -.75 / 1 – and then says – ‘to score free toothpaste… is that a typo??
There could be a typo, I will go check it out. The kikkoman cat is there now. It was hiding!
Uh, no typo. We spotted Colgate Toothpaste for $1 at Albs on Wed. So with a .75/1 and double it will be free.

Hi, I am new to coupons! 2 weeks ago was my first shopping trip with coupons. I went to Safeway and I payed $1.20 for almost $40 worth of groceries, then 2 catalinas printed out totaling $5.50 !!! I was sooooo excited!!!! Tonight I went to Albertsons to take advantage of the Kraft cheese Sale and catalina, but it didn’t go well. I live in New Mexico and the only kraft cheese on sale were the 16count Kraft Singles 2 for $4 , so I picked up 5 and went to the cashier with my $5/ off 5 coupon printed from the internet. She took the coupon to the manager who pulled out his coupon policy, and he said the coupon is not accepted. So I didn’t buy them. So transaction #2 I had 5 cool whips (they are $.88 here this week) so I thought with the $5 catalina that would print out it would be a money maker!!! But no Cat!!!!
I am bummed out! I guess things are different in different regions. Just wanted to know if anyone else had a similar experience?

Hi Hanne! Welcome to the world of couponing! Its the greatest addiction around, IMO! Glad to hear about the great experience at Safeway! And I’m sorry to hear about Abertsons. We are in Boise Idaho and had a few stores that gave couponers a hard time about the $5/5 coupon. And sadly, we are in the NW region, so our Albertsons ads and offers are not always the same.

I bought 3- 24 pack arrow head waters from Albies and didn’t get a catalina. Does anyone know if it’s a confirmed Catalina?
