FruGAL Mara emailed us to let us know about this FAB canning class on Saturday in Ontario (about an hour drive from Boise) at Kinney and Keele True Value Hardware.
Who: Everyone and Anyone!
What: An opportunity to learn from the best canners around: registered master canner, Donna Culley and superintendent of the Malheur County Fairgrounds Canning Division, Mary Echo.
When: This Saturday, July 17th from 10am-noon.
Why: To get all of your questions on waterbathing, pressure cooking/canning, and dehydration answered. You can also bring the lids and model numbers of your pressure cooker/canners in and they will check them for free!
Where: True Value Hardware, 460 SW 4th Ave, Ontario OR.

Oh my Goodness! So happy to see that Kinney and Keele is still around. I grew up in Ontario and the Keeles (of Kinney and Keele) attended our church. They were such a nice older couple. They passed on many years ago, but nice to see that the place still has the original name.
Is anyone from Boise planning to go to this that maybe wants to carpool? I won’t be able to drive out that day, but I’d love to go!
Is there a way that the session can be recorded (if allowed) and uploaded so that people who doesnt reside in the near by area can also take advantage of it…..
