We hinted at it yesterday… and here is the big news!

Zaycon Foods is giving away 40lbs of Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (and that is no typo) FIVE winners!!!

That’s over $500 worth of Chicken that will be given away!!!

  • 2 Winners will be chosen from Random.org to win 40lbs of chicken each.  To sweeten the deal they will give away another case of chicken for every 250 entries!  So tell your friends!
  • You can also ”earn” more entries to win a free case of chicken by referring your friends.  Three additional cases will be given away to those who refer.  See below.

PLEASE NOTE:  Winners of this giveaway must be able to pick up their chicken when  Zaycon Foods comes to their city, no later than November 15, 2010.  Here are the areas that Zaycon Foods currently delivers to:

  • Washington state: Spokane Valley, Moses Lake, Pasco, Vancouver, Monroe, Puyallup. + for those cities not listed: if enough interest in your city it might be possible to come to your town.
  • Idaho: Lewiston, Hayden, & Boise+ if enough interest in your city it might be possible to come to your town.
  • Oregon: Portland and surrounding areas + if enough interest in your city it might be possible to come to your town.

“Who is Zaycon Foods and why are they giving away so much chicken?”.

This is the exciting part!  Some of the fabs and I were able to sit down and meet the owners of Zaycon Foods.  They are very professional and friendly people based out of Spokane, Washington.  JC, one of the founders, has worked in the grocery industry for over 10 years!  Much of that time was spent as a Meat manager and a store manager.  When he and his family moved to Washington they were surprised by the price of meat so he figured out a way to buy directly from the farms and pass along the savings to all of us!  Zaycon Foods delivers their products to many areas in the Northwest, see here or above.  You can order from them 3-4 times per year and expect to pay $1.39-$1.59 per lb of chicken when you buy in increments of 40lbs.  So you can “stock up” at a fab price and never have to pay the high grocery store price again!!!!

They generously invited us to test out their chicken, and brought us a 40lb box.  We tried some and it is deliciously fresh, tender and great quality!  This is fabulous chicken.  We loved it!   Seriously.  Who knew that eating fresh chicken actually made a difference??

HOW TO ENTER the General drawing:

1.  Go to ZayconFoods.com and fill out the entry form on their site.  Then return here and enter a comment stating that you registered at Zaycon foods.

Additional Referral Entries:

1.  Make sure you have gone to Zayconfoods.com and registered with them.

2.   There is a place on the entry form where you can write in who referred you.  So tell you friends, co-workers, blogging buddies, facebook friends, church groups, and anyone you can think of about the giveaway.  The important part is they need to put YOUR NAME and PHONE # down as the person that referred them when they register, so you can have an additional chance to win!  Everyone that has referred at least 3 people will get an entry into the referral drawing.  There will also be an additional drawing for those that have referred at least 5 people and another one for those that have referred 10 people or more.

No additional comments are needed on our site for this entry, Zaycon Foods will track this portion.

For example, let’s say Katie referred 11 people and they had all registered and put her name and phone number down as the referrer.  She would be entered into the general drawing for signing up herself, and then she would be entered into each of the additional 3 separate drawings.  If she only referred 7 she would be entered into the General Drawing for herself, and then into the separate drawing for referring 3 people and  the  separate drawing for referring 5 people.
