I’ve used coupons over the years but was introduced to “extreme couponing” in March. I have a New Addiction. I’m in that phase of no kids at home and waiting for grandchildren. I’ve been able to stock my cupboards and those of the people around me. It’s so gratifying to be able to do bless those you love by commiting a little extra time to clip and shop.
It would be great to see just how far the $100 could go toward feeding people in my community! I’ll start saving my coupons in case I’m the lucky winner!!!!!

My friend Christie taught me to coupon using this blog! That was only about a month ago, but we have already been able to take our already low food/household budget ($170/every two weeks) and lower it even more! We actually made the decision to sponsor two more children through Compassion International because we were saving on average $30 a week! I love it!!!
We do many things. My wife uses coupons a lot when shopping. Also, growing our own produce in the garden helps a lot! And to go along with the garden, composting as much as we can helps create nutrient rich soil that we can use instead of buying soil at the garden center every year.

Oh how couponing has blessed our lives. I have been out of work for two years and things seemed like they would never stop spiraling into the deep hole. It’s been almost a year since I was introduced to couponing. A friend briefly mentioned that people could save a lot of money using coupons and suggested a few websites. Funny thing is, I still can’t get her to coupon!!!! Couponing has allowed us to stay in our home, keep our cars, etc. And above all that, my kids are definately learning the value of being frugal! They have seen the pantry go from empty to bursting! Couponing has to be our secret to living fabuless! It has brought our family together on so many more levels! Thank you!

I recently figured out couponing from a friend. My husband was partially unemployed this winter and we cut our food budget way down and lived mostly off the pantry items. But, this resulted in a very bare pantry after a couple of months! Couponing has helped me stay at a very frugal food budget, get my kids some “treat foods” that they haven’t had in months (like fruit by the food or ice cream) and allows us to save money since my husband will most likely be partially laid off again this winter *sigh*.

I was shown this site by my fab sister in-law jenny. she is a stay at home mom of two, and I am a realitily new mom (a 2 year old now). Since finding this site my life has changed in so many ways, i am no master at the zen art of couponing, but i hope to be someday. With the chages I have made in our monthly grocery income, I was able to quit my part time retail job and take up the job I love most, being a stay at home mom. In addition I was able to budget for taking some college courses. The way I get in to my couponing, is setting aside a time each week that is my own, where I can check the sites, the ads, and clip away. Thank you all so much for teaching us all how to save!

I use a variety of frugal techniques…couponing, stockpiling, reusing, cooking from scratch, canning, thrift store shopping, consigning clothing, trading and bartering. Whew, i’m exhausted just writing them!
I was able to build up a year food/supply storage after my husband’s layoff through couponing, and we were able to donate $200 of supplies to the valley crisis shelter at Christmas. It has blessed our lives and we have been able to bless others even though we are struggling financially.

Couponing has blessed our life since my hubby’s office closed and has been out of a job since the end of the year. We’re able to save lots of money on our grocery bill.
To save $$ AND the environment I make homemade dinners every night with enough for leftovers – that I pack up for my husband & I to take to work in reusable containers! Its so much more healthy than eating out & it saves GREEN!

I started soupoming about 6 months ago and my kids are loveing it because we can get things we’ve never been able to get before.
My son 5 years old love to coupon he thinks we can get somuch stuff for free with coupons that he looks for the coupons in the stores for me so if he fineds that treet he wants he’ll have a coupon for it to get it cheep.
I am a flash subscriber! I have stocked pilled so much that my girls never go without. I got so much ceacel that my daughter brought it to school in her luch everyday, she got what she wanted and it made packing lunches so much easier! I also used the fruit snacks as party favories for there birthdays and have also givin a box to a little girls as a gift (along with other stuff) she thought that was so cool.
