In Idaho Falls, the Betty Crocker cake mix was 78 cents and frosting 98 cents. If you still have coupons for the combo, you can save another 75 cents!

The Jimmy Dean 8 ct. fully cooked sausages are $1.38, use the $1/1 from today and get them for $.38 each. They freeze well and are great fro quick snacks.

On the Tuna Helper + tuna … I bought some this weekend, and they only took off the price of the tuna, not the full $1.
Also, the cashier gave me a bad time about using a $.75/3 coupon for the Tuna Helper in addition to the “$1 tuna wyb Tuna Helper” coupon. She said that the peelie coupon applied to both the tuna and the Tuna Helper, and I shouldn’t use both. She did it anyway, but told me that they were not supposed to do that. I don’t quite understand why, but that was my experience.
So … I ended up paying $.73/box for Tuna Helper and got one free can of tuna for each box. Still a good deal, but not the $.23/ea you mention here. One of those “ymmv” situations, I guess.

That cashier doesn’t understand coupons. Your tuna helper coupon is like cash for the for tuna helper. The peelie is like cash for the tuna!
Sometimes cashiers forget that the store will not only be reimbursed for the coupon, they’ll get paid an additional $.08 for handling… so they are actually making money! That’s too bad. Thanks for the comment.
I wanted to say thank you for the Winco posts. I love supporting our local Winco, but it seems like there is so much focus on Albertsons with their doublers that I haven’t been shopping at Winco as much. Sometimes you have to be careful because you can find the same items the same price or cheaper at Winco than Albertsons and you don’t have to try to work with the 3 doublers and multiple trips. Anyway, I was at the Meridian Winco today and they have Premium saltine crackers for $1.68 with $1.00 coupons attached to them. I also stocked up on the Jimmy Dean sausage and they still had plenty there. .68 is a great price on those.
