Yesterday, Monica gave you the scoop on our Fabuless Cooking Group. The 24th is rapidly approaching, so we need a menu! Because we have done freezer meal groups in the past, choosing a menu was easy for us. We pulled from favorite recipes we have previously used. But if you are just starting out, it’s best to request favorite recipes from all of the members of your group (or feel free to use any of the recipes found HERE), and then everyone can give input/suggestions/vetoes!
Here is the menu we will be using. Most of the recipes can be found on the site, and the 6 that are not up yet will be added in the next 2 days.
3. Chicken/beef/shrimp shish kabobs
5. Salmon cakes
10. Pizza calzones
11. Navajo tacos
12. Sausage hash
15. Pasta carbonara
Next up is making your shopping list. This is one of the most time consuming parts of the freezer cooking experience. So if you are following along, we will be doing all the hard work for you! Stay tuned….

It all began on October 8th, 2008. Cathy and Monica started this coupon blog to help friends and family learn about their new money saving hobby couponing! Since then they have taught thousands of women (and men)

Hi! I am going to start freezer cooking, but I noticed your meals are all meat/fish. do you have any without? (we try to rotate so that our meat intake isn’t every day) also, i’m fairly new to couponing.. can you explain stacking coupons? Thanks!
Off the top of your head, do you if any of the recipes gluten free? I am planning to go through them all to plan but was just wondering if you knew of any for sure. Thanks!
We did freezer cooking yesterday and we made tamales which are gluten and dairy free, dont be deterred by the lard it makes the flavor difference but we easily assembled about 5 dozen in an hour or less. Steaming takes a BIG pot and a few hours but it is SOOOOOO worth it!
When I try to look at the recipes for the tacos, potato casserole, burgers, and chicken enchiladas, I get an error message. What am I doing wrong? Anyone else have this problem?
Thx.
Hi Susan,
I got the 404 error also so I used the Contact Us link at the top to let them know. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I would love to have these recipes – I like mass cooking!
Thanks Denise! I’m glad you left a comment on THIS post!
We have gotten emails about broken links, but we can’t find them unless we know what post the person was on when trying to view. I think I’ve got them fixed now. Thanks girls!!!
where did the creamy meatballs recipe go?? Am I crazy? I swear I saw it on this site Friday!
It’s in a different place because we didn’t make them last time. Here’s the link:

Is the Ham and Cheese Brunch Braid the same as Ham and Cheese Crepes? That’s the recipe that it takes you to…. Might it be different? Thanks Ladies for ALL of your hard work!
