Some of you may remember about my excitement of getting FREE Capri Suns last year. Getting Capri Suns in my pre-coupon days was a very rare “indulgence” if you will. When I could get them free on coupon, I was pretty dang excited. I stocked up. We’ve used them for camping trips, sports games, hot summer days, occasional cold lunches, and once in a while treats. One thing I want to tell you RIGHT NOW is that they WILL come on sale through out the summer, and you WILL be able to get them FREE again! Want to get some now? Here is what you need to do.
#1 – We have readers reporting there will be doubles on Sunday in the comments and via email (it’s been quite the dry spell and we’re anxiously awaiting them!)
#2 - Capri Suns are on sale for $2.00 this week. There are some $1/1 Capri Sunrise Coupons on eBay (these don’t expire until 5/27 and were in the 4/25 SS in some regions, but Idaho did not get them). Using this coupon would make it $1 for one (note that you can only use this coupon on the Capri “Sunrise” product, which are always included in the sale). Doubling this coupon would make them FREE! If you purchase coupons on eBay
, do it THURSDAY at the VERY LATEST so you’ll have your coupons before the sale ends (although, the coupons don’t expire for a month and I’m sure you’ll have another opportunity to use them!)!
#3 – If you want more than 4 boxes, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU PLACE AN ORDER! Do it no later than Thursday evening toget them on the Saturday night truck… just in time for Sunday doubles! If you want to wait until Monday to pick it up, that is OK!
#4 - You will need a double for each coupon you have in order to get them free. If you are not already getting multiple copies of the Sunday paper at the fantastically low price of $.60 each, then NOW is the time to do it! Read all about signing up with the 7+4 FABULESSLY FRUGAL deal at The Idaho Statesman, or the Fabulessly Frugal Coupon Deal at The Idaho Press Tribune {we’ve gone one for the Idaho State Journal as well!}. #5 – On Sunday/Monday/Tuesday, take your eBay coupons, your doubles, and pick up your order for Capri Sun and walk away paying just tax for your goodies! Hot diggity! That is fun!!

I wanted to put this out there so you will be prepared IF they do come! And it certainly does seem like it is time!!

I am confused- so I use my SS coupon, I get that. The ones on ebay look like the exact same coupon that I already have? My store will not let me use two of the same coupons on one item. Am I missing something?
Use one coupon for each item. The multiple coupons (ie, purchased on ebay) are so that you can purchase lots of Capri Suns, using 1 coupon for each of them, making them 1.00 each. Then, if there are doublers, you can double the coupon for as many coupons as you have doublers for, making them free. For example, if I have 12 doublers, and 12 coupons, I can get 12 Capri Suns for free (in 4 different transactions, because you can only use 3 doublers per transaction)
Thank you for clearly explaining that Kelly! Laura – in our region (Idaho), we didn’t get that coupon in the Sunday paper. That is one reason we’d go the eBay route… but if you can get something FREE, why stop at one or two? We stock up when things are FREE!
Does anyone know the date of the SS insert that has the Capri Sun Q?
Becky, these were just in Sundays paper 4/25. idaho did not get them but i know my dad in california did get them.
Even if doubles don’t come, I don’t think a buck is a terrible price to pay for these if you like them, although I guess it is my upper limit. Free is always better, though, right?

Wow, I am a little taken a back at the price on Ebay for these. I understand paying for more higher value coupons (like the snuggle) , but $4.75 plus shipping kid of bums me out for this $1/1 coupon.
Ok, I am relieved, found some new ones that are only $3.50 for 20 coupons instead of $4.99 for 10. Gotta love the sorting option!
Good job Sophie – you gotta search, but you’ll find some good deals for coupons on there! ALSO – remember, when you double these babies, suddenly 20 $1/1 coupons will be worth not $20, but $40!! So paying $5 to save $40 is still great!
Yep! And a friend and I are splitting them so a great deal after all!
You can also find these coupons on The Coupon Master (and maybe also The Coupon Clipper and other services) for $0.10 each. You do have to order at least $3.00 total (not only of these particular coupons, but of any other coupons you might want). I ordered mine that way. I only wanted 10 of these Sunrise Qs, but then they only cost me a buck.

So I just got a call from my aunt who just got done shopping at wal mart and she said they had signs and the cashier told her that they are now taking ANY coupons you have. Including doublers, catalinas and other stores coupons. Anyone else heard this?

Yeah, she was at the Wal Mart in Nampa. On Greenhurst. My bambino is good…I have been pretty lucky with these kids. They are all so quiet and good sleepers.

I do have a question, when you order several of whatever product and use your coupons and doubles, can you use all at one time or only three per transaction?

I ordered some on Saturday (we have a newspaper that has Smart SOurce inserted on Saturdays) right after I realized we did not get the Capri Sun coupon. I got 20 for 2.25 shipped!!! I knew I would find a way to use them YEAH!!!!

I was told at the 5&O Albies that they wont take orders because the warehouse does not have any in stock, so what the stores have in stock is it. Looks it may be raincheck time!

Natalie – Keep trying for the eBay coupons… DON’T bid though – just do the “Buy It Now” auction. I’m certain they will be out of stock by Tuesday evening and you can get a rain check. I’m also sure we’ll see doubles before the 30 days is up.
