Cheesy Spinach Burgers
1 FAMILY
½ envelope Lipton recipe secrets onion soup mix
1 lb ground beef
½ package (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
½ c. shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (4 oz)
6 FAMILIES
3 envelops Lipton recipe secrets onion soup mix
6 lb ground beef
3 packages (30 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
3 c. shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (~24 oz)
TO FREEZE
Combine all ingredients and place in gallon-sized bag, can make into patties if desired.
TO PREPARE AFTER FREEZING
Thaw mixture and shape into 4 patties, if not already done. Grill or broil until no longer pink. Serve on buns with desired fixings.































Just be sure your meat wasn’t previously frozen. Otherwise it’s safest to cook the patties and then refreeze them

We only buy fresh hamburger. Frozen-thaw-frozen-thaw would be gross! Thanks for the tip though!
I guess you just squish all the ingredients together and the cheeze is mixed in as well? I think this would make a great recipe using ground chicken or turkey. The additional flavors would make the burger come alive! Also, it would keep the kiddies healthier. Thanks for sharing.
