We told you about the good, but not smoking hot, Quaker sale. Use the in ad manufactures coupon and get any of the items for $1.00 each. There is a back page of store coupons… there may be some good possible matchups, but I’m too pooped to get to it tonight!
Also, become a fan of Wild Harvest (Organic Foods) on Facebook for some coupons to go with the Wild Harvest sale items.

Is the Gatorade/Propel water a good deal? You buy 10 gatorades and 5 propel and they come out to .67 cents each. I like to have this kind of stuff stocked up for the summer.
Is the instant oatmeal part of the sale at all?
Ooh, I will be buying some drumsticks! I have a great recipe for them…
Honey-Soy Glazed Drumsticks
Thanks for sharing Gwen! You mind if we share when we do our Cooking from your Stockpile post (with link love of course!)?
Anyone know if the pork shoulder country style ribs is a good price, $1.69 per lb?
It is a 4 star deal. We only list the good deals!
The $1.79 boneless chicken was a misprint in the ad. Butcher block told me it is the bone-in breasts that are on sale. Customer service said they have ran a retraction.
Major bummer. I need some chicken!! I’ll update the post. Thanks Debbie!

Some of the Quaker oatmeal I bought had 1.00 off coupons on each box! Yea!!
I did the Albies quaker today because my store is so accomidating to Couponers who want quantity . The my store had plenty of extra Q at the checkout. But the sale is a dissapointment to couponers and (managers who are likely stuck with lots of instant oatmeal to try to sell in late spring at $1.40 a box? ) The manager I spoke to said he ordered for this sale a month ago and didn’t get the ad until last week so he’s stuck with alot of quaker products he thought he would be moving Februarys prices. He said at least he will be able to move all the captain crunch he ordered. My store will likely order more concervatively next time.
I was at Glenwood this morning and they had TONS of Quaker products. I feel bad for the stores that over-ordered and will be stuck with so much stuff.
since you mentioned using an “overage” with the fabric softener, sometime could you post something about “overages”? I’ve had a lot of bad luck lately at Albertson’s and Walgreens with my overages not working out for the better. Quite often I’m getting just what’s on sale, free or what I have coupons for and the last few times I’ve missed out on the full value of a deal (mainly with Alb’s doubles and RR at Wags) because I wasn’t buying enough. Unless I’m the only one who does that! Thanks!
