Free Betty Crocker Potatoes at Freds

March 31, 2010
Buy 3 Betty Crocker Potato Pouches ($1.24 each) = $3.72
Use (3) $.40/1 printable
OR  Use (3) $.25/1 from 3/28 SS
OOP (out of pocket):$2.52-$2.97
Get $3  catalina (coupon that’s as good as cash on your next transaction)
Final Cost = MONEYMAKER-FREE!

You can do this transaction over and over again (general rule of thumb, 3 transactions and then take bags out to your car and come in again if you wish).  Be sure to get a filler item, or have them reduce the coupon amount.

Keep in mind that the catalina will print through April 18.  They may even be marked down more sometime between now and then.  This catalina should also be working at other Kroger stores as well.

PLEASE NOTE: If you haven’t tried these before, you may want to do the deal once, and then make them up to see if you and your family will enjoy them before you go stocking up!

ALSO NOTE: These are on sale at Albertsons for $1.00 this week.  I have not tried it to see if a catalina will print there.  Leave a comment if you have and what the result was.  I’m not going to try it because I purchased about 10 boxes over a year ago, and we’ve used about 3 of them.  Just not something my family loves.  Not a stock up item for me, but it may be for you!

Betty Crocker Potatoes (any variety):
Buy 1, Get $.50
Buy 2, Get $1.50
Buy 3, Get $3
ends April 18th

Thanks to the Discount Queens for this fab find!

I am thru with any catalina shopping…since there was no purex laundry detergents in any freds stores I went to..I will just use my coupons at stores that double or triple and get the product for free less the tax or nearly free…no hassle at all, too many people run the offers to death and the
stores pull the offer like the people in the midwest who hoarded 800 bottles..I enjoyed your golden rule blog, if more people would realize that a few free is one thing many not at all..

Amanda – it was in the Idaho Statesman 3/28 SS (Eye Masters)… if you got a different paper, it won’t be in there. :( BUT – Amber updated the post this morning because there is an even BETTER coupon! Click on the link above! Woot!

    Cathy,
My husband and Cora could eat those potatoes for breakfast, lunch & dinner (and I’m not kidding-gross right. Eggs and boxed potatoes? Gag!). Anyway, if you want to unload them on me I can offer up something to trade. Let me know!

Eeks – I’ll have to look. My husband totally organized and rearranged my pantry/food storage last week (hooray, I’m sooo thankful!), but I don’t know where they are! If they were expired, they may have been chucked. I’ll let you know!

Ontario – Thanks for checking to see if it was working there! It would have been an even better deal if it were! :) Thanks for letting us know.

You can also print the coupon from smartsource and betty crocker’s website. This lets you get a few more!

Does the Catalina only work on pouches or also on boxes? I just tried to check at my store. They had pouches but were out of boxes. It appeared pouches were $1.25 but boxes were $1.99 and I couldn’t find any ad coupon. Thank you for any help you can provide.
