Before we can help with printing problems we want to be sure you know some lingo………
Or simply change two characters in the link.
Here is part of a Firefox link:
Note the “wg” in the URL. That means it is a Firefox link.
To make the link an Internet Explorer link: change the “wg” to “wi” or “vi”. If one does not work try the other.
Here is part of an Internet Explorer link:
http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qhldcyo15421561&bt=vi&o=55267&pt=&lang
Note the “vi” in the URL. That means it is an Internet Explorer link
If you use Safari: replace the “wg”, “wi”, or “vi” to “xs”. And to get a Safari link to print in a different browser, change the “xs” to“wi” or “vi” for Internet Explorer or to “wg” for Firefox.
What are your tips for coupon printing?

It all began on October 8th, 2008. Cathy and Monica started this coupon blog to help friends and family learn about their new money saving hobby couponing! Since then they have taught thousands of women (and men)

I tried to print the coupons but it will not print. Anybody know what is going on? Any info would be appreciated.
Does anybody print their coupons from a Mac? I installed the coupon printer, but when they print, they print out tiny and in the center of the page. Thanks!
i can’t print coupons 9or emails or anything for that matter) from my Mac in firefox but they print fine in Safari.
when I try to print coupons from the Smart Source website, the bar codes and pictures don’t print. Anyone have any idea why? I tried emailing them about it, but all I get is some “form letter” reply telling me to make sure I have ink in my printer! Duh!
try clearing your cache and disabling cookies. If you do not know how, just google it. That is what I always have to do because I can never remember. :0
HELP! I have tried everything to get my MAC to print and I am ready to throw my computer out the window! I tried safari and firefox and it says thanks for printing but nothing came out of the printer!
I’m sorry Maurisa, I don’t have a MAC so I don’t know how to help you! I did google “printing coupons on a mac” and found some posts that you may find useful. Good luck!

I am unable to print my coupons! I have the coupon printer installed but none of the coupon sites recognize that it isthere and want me to reinstall the coupon printer. I have tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it and it says the intallation is complete and it shows up as one pf my programs, but this doesn’t help it still wants me toinstall and puts me in an never ending loop. I used to be able to print using this coupon printer program but several months ago I just started having this issue. Does any one know of a solution? Not even my tec support buddy was able to figure it out.. Any help would be appreciated I am desperate!
I have the same problem…I am running a MAC with the Snow Leopard operating system. A little Google reseach and I’ve found that the coupon printers on most sites are not compatible so we are sort of out of luck until someone at coupons.com decides they would like to share the love.
I guess it gives us more reasons to try and win those circulars!
Any tips for finding coupons if you can’t install the coupon printer? I’d like to print them from my local library for example but I can’t install software like this there.
downloads are usually blocked at the library. Bummer. You will want to focus on getting newspaper coupons: http://fabulesslyfrugal.com/2011/04/sunday-coupon-preview-4.html
Is there a way to set up the “coupon printer” to always print in black and white?
I didn’t get my blue paper changed out of my printer before I printed some coupons. Will stores
be able to scan coupons on colored paper?
Yes they should be able to. I have to scan barcodes all day long and they are printed on dark orange paper.
I would have to agree with Misyy. I have done it on pink too!
When I go to print my coupons only the manufactures label prints not the barcode or expiration. please help!
I am a new at this whole coupon thing. I don’t want to sound like a dumb dumb, but here is my question. I find a coupon in my paper for an item, and then i find the same product on these sites for that same item, but how many can i use at check out?
I have a newer laptop and a very old desktop. The desktop does not have internet, but, that is the computer we print from. I use a flash drive from the laptop to the desktop to print things. Is there anyway to place the coupons on a flash drive and print from the other device? Please let me know! Thanks.
I have a MAC and it keeps saying I need to change my printer settings. The instructions that show up are for a pc.
I’ve tried changing pretty much all settings and it still gives me the same error!! It works fine on my windows pc!!
I can’t pull up the website: http://www.coupons.com
Any ideas? I’ve tried pulling it up in explorer and firefox.
Doesn’t even bring up an image or say “not found”.
Help!
Wow Katie I wish I could help you. That has never happened to me. Do you have some kind of blocker on your computer?
I have a macbook with a brand new wireless printer and can’t get coupons to print. Why do all the help instructions from the coupon printer have to be for windows? I got the coupon printer software installed and now it’s telling me to change some printer settings…but the instructions mentioned are not available via the mac printer settings. Oh, and I’ve tried using Google Chrome and Safari. Help!
Renyel, none of this fabs are mac users so we’re no help. But I DID pose the question on facebook! Here is what fellow readers have to say: https://www.facebook.com/FabuLESSlyFrugal/posts/10151318579569627
Renyel, I had that issue as well with my wireless printer and Macs. I had I go to the manufacturer of the printer an download the software for it on order to change the settings to be able to print.
I don’t have a Mac, but I found some websites can not function unless you are using Internet Explorer. I can NEVER get target to print unless I am using internet explorer. It’s something weird with THEIR software. The only other thing I can suggest is you connect printer to computer via usb cable. If just for printing coupons it might work. Defeats the “wireless” option I know.
Do you know if there is a way to print coupons from I-pad?.
